History

The Biblioteca Federata di Medicina "Ferdinando Rossi" (BFM) was founded with Rectoral Decree no. 927 of 23/03/2016.

It brings together the library services of the medical Departments of the University of Turin:

• Biotecnologie molecolari e scienze per la salute
• Neuroscienze
• Oncologia
• Scienze chirurgiche
• Scienze cliniche e biologiche
• Scienze della sanità pubblica e pediatriche
• Scienze mediche

In 2021, following an agreement, the integration of services with the Library “A. Rosmini” – Corsi di Laurea delle Professioni Sanitarie was signed. The Library has been renamed “Polo Rosmini Professioni Sanitarie”.

The BFM Library is dedicated to Prof. Ferdinando Rossi, who strongly believed in its creation and would be among the most passionate users of its services.
